Leaving the driving to Executive Coach I left for the coast of Maine on August 14th.  We traveled from Boothbay Harbor to Northeast Harbor, Maine and back – sometimes in my rented car – so I could be on time for my three book signings.  Two were in Sherman’s stores and the  first one in this book series sold out.    Both the Maine Maritime Museum in Bath, Maine and the Maine Lighthouse Museum in Rockland carry my lighthouse books. Manning the Light, book 1, copyright 2003, is still a best seller. Amazing!

 I wasn’t able to get behind the wheel of a ship, as this photo shows, instead admired the schooner rebuilt with loving and willing hands at the Maritime Museum and wondered at the size of the yachts and  schooners at anchor in the harbors.
